Every minute, 500 hours of video are uploaded to the internet. 80% of it is compressed, blurry, or degraded. We built Retroiva AI to restore clarity to the world's digital memories using state-of-the-art generative AI.

Retroiva AI began as a Ph.D. research project at Stanford University. Our founders, deeply involved in computer vision, realized that traditional bicubic upscaling was reaching its mathematical limits. It simply couldn't invent information that wasn't there.
We pivoted to Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), training models not just to sharpen edges, but to "hallucinate" plausible texture details based on millions of real-world examples. Today, Retroiva AI is the engine behind major streaming platforms and archival institutions, processing petabytes of video daily.
